One of Europe’s popular vacation spots, which is backed by mountains and 100s of an offshore island, is the Dalmatian coast. The coast has everything from major cities like Zadar and Split to apt beaches like that of the beautiful Brela beach. Dubrovnik is one of the most famous cities on the coast of Dalmatia, all thanks to the series ‘Games of Throne’. One of the best parts that you will know about Dubrovnik is that it has pristine ink blue water, old cathedrals, centuries-old walls, and a sunny climate. It’s an apt place to visit.

Dalmatian Coast –

You should visit the old historical sites here early in the morning hours and you can even spend some time sipping a cup of coffee on the cathedral stairs. If you want to get a genuine medieval feel then one of the best places that you can visit on the Dalmatian coast is the old town Trogir. It is also known as a citywide museum. National Geographic has named it as one of the top islands.

Trogir Town – 

Trogir has intact buildings from the 1200s to 1400s, plus it has defensive city walls, and stone streets that are narrow. One of the most charming places that you can visit here is the Kamerlengo Castle, it is one kind of historic charm. It also has beautiful Ciovo island which is linked with the modern portions of the city. Old Town Trogir has now become a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997. You can also visit the Trogir City Museum. In addition, in the Kamerlengo Castle, you can enjoy Renaissance and Romanesque architecture.

Green Market & Museums – 

There is also a green market, there where you can get fresh fruits and vegetables. And, don’t miss the bell tower of St. Lawrence Cathedral that is 154 feet. Dubrovnik is one of the best film location places and also because of the series ‘Games of the throne’. Another best place that you can visit here is Fort Lovrijenac. There are several museums in Dubrovnik that you can visit like Cultural Historical Museum, Maritime Museum in Fort St. John, Ethnographic Museum, and the Love Stories Museum.
